Educational Qualification:
- As per the notification issued by the board, the aspiring candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.
- Must have basic knowledge of computers.
- The candidate should have sufficient knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both languages.
Age Limits:
Generally, the candidate should be more than 20 years of age and less than 35 years of age as on 20 Feb 2026.

CCE Recruitment 2026 : Exam Pattern & Syllabus
As per the notification issued by the board, the exam will be conducted in two parts for both Group A and B.
Part – 1 : Preliminary Exam
- This exam will be common for both Group-A and B. It will be conducted by CBRT. This exam will be qualifying.
- Only those who appear for this exam will be eligible for a refund of the fee paid.
- There will be a total of 120 minutes for this exam.

Part – 2 : Main Exam
Only the candidates who qualify for the main examination on the basis of the preliminary examination will be able to appear for this examination. In which separate main examinations will be conducted for Groups – A and B.
- For Group-A : The main exam for Group-A will be of descriptive type of 300 marks.
- For Group-A : The main exam for Group-B will be of MCQ type of total 200 marks.

- Go to the online application section, click on “Apply” and select advertisement number 378/202526.
- Then fill in the personal, educational, and communication details in the form that opens.
- Fill in the personal details, save the form, upload the scanned photograph and signature. Please note that it is necessary to indicate the date the photograph was taken below your photograph.
