Panchayat Department has issued notification No. 17/202526 for filling up of 994 vacancies. Details of this notification have been placed on the website of Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB) and Online Job Application System (OJAS). The examination pattern for this is as follows.
- There will be only one written examination.
- The examination will be conducted using OMR (Optical Mark Reading) method as per this preliminary syllabus.
- One mark (1) will be awarded for each correct answer.
- Each incorrect answer, leaving blank, and selecting more than one answer will result in a deduction of 0.33 marks.
- Each question will have an “E” [“Not Attempted“] option. Selecting “E” [“Not Attempted“] will not result in any marks being deducted.

- First go to the website “https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in”.
- Then click on Apply in “Online Application” and select GSSSB.
- Click on the name of the advertisement in which the candidate wants to apply and click on Apply.
- When clicking on “Apply now” a new window will open. When clicking on “Skip”
the Application Format will open. - In which the candidate must first fill in “Personal Details”.
(Where there is a red asterisk (*), those details must be filled in compulsorily.) - After filling in the Personal Details, “Educational Details” must be filled.
- After that, it is mandatory to read and accept the conditions mentioned in the guarantee, so select “Yes” and click on “save”. That is, the application will be considered complete.
- Finally, by clicking on “save”, an “Application Number” will be generated which will be sent to your mobile number or email. The candidate should keep it safe as it will be useful at every stage of the advertisement in the future.
