Additional Assistant Engineer Civil Qualification

The candidate should have a Diploma in Civil Engineering obtained from a Technical Examination Board or any of the Universities or Institutions established or incorporated by or under a Central or State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized or declared as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government. However, a candidate having a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering shall not be eligible to apply.

Additionally, the candidate must have basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967 And the candidate must have sufficient knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi or both.

  • A total of 200 questions will be asked in the exam for a total of 200 marks.
  • The time limit for the exam is three hours.
