Field Officer Qualification
- A bachelor’s degree in Social work / Sociology / Psychology obtained from any of the Universities.
- The Basic knowledge of computer.
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or Both.
Field Officer Exam Fees
As per the resolution of the General Administration Department of the Government of Gujarat, the following fees will be charged for this GSSSB recruitment.

Field Officer Salary
Advertisement No.:-368/202526 issued by Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board Gandhinagar, the pay scale of Field Officer Class-3 will be Rs.40800/- per month for the first five years.
After five years, as per the Seventh Pay Commission, Level-6 (35400/- then 112400) Grade Pay will be 4200.
Field Officer Exam Pattern
The examination pattern of Field Officer Class-3 released by Gujarat Subordinate Services Selection Board Gandhinagar will be in two parts.
Part-1
In the first phase, a competitive examination of CBRT/OMR (Computer Based Respose Test/Optical Mark Recognisation) method with objective Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type questions will be conducted.
Part-2
Part-2 will also be taken from MCQ.
