TET Apply Online
Teacher Eligibility Test-1-2025 will be conducted by the State Examination Board, Gandhinagar for the candidates who have the prescribed qualifications for appointment as Primary Teacher/Vidya Sahayak in Primary School (Standards 1 to 5).

TET Education Qualification
Candidates desirous of being appointed as Primary Teacher/Educational Assistant in Primary School (Standards 1 to 5) should possess the educational qualification and training qualification prescribed by the Government, which is as follows.
TET Qualification
- Candidate should be 12th pass.
Teacher Training Qualification
- Two years P.T.C./D.EL.Ed
OR
- Four Years B.EL.Ed
OR
- Two Years Diploma in Education (Special Education)
TET Exam Fees
- Exam Fee for S.C./S.T./SEBC / EWS Category Candidates 250/-
- Exam Fee for General Category Candidates 350/-
TET Exam Method
- This test will be of multiple choice Question Based (MCQS) format.
- The exam will have 150 questions, all of which will be compulsory.
- Each question will carry one mark. Each question will have four options.
- There will be no negative marking system.
- The duration of the question paper will be 120 minutes.
- The decision of the Department of Education regarding the test structure will be final.
TET Exam Medium
As per the government’s resolutions, this test will be conducted in three mediums: Gujarati, English, and Hindi. A candidate can appear for the exam in only one medium. The question paper will be given in the same medium in which the candidate fills the application form for the examination.
TET-1 Syllabus 2025
This test will have a total of 5 sections and 150 questions and 150 marks. Which are as follows.

The likely month of the exam for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET-1) is December. The exam is likely to be conducted on December 14, 2025.
How to apply
- First go to the website “https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in”.
- Then click on Apply in “Online Application” and select TET-1.
- Click on the name of the advertisement in which the candidate wants to apply and click on Apply.
- When clicking on “Apply now” a new window will open. When clicking on “Skip”
the Application Format will open. - In which the candidate must first fill in “Personal Details”.
(Where there is a red asterisk (*), those details must be filled in compulsorily.) - After filling in the Personal Details, “Educational Details” must be filled.
- After that, it is mandatory to read and accept the conditions mentioned in the guarantee, so select “Yes” and click on “save”. That is, the application will be considered complete.
- Finally, by clicking on “save”, an “Application Number” will be generated which will be sent to your mobile number or email. The candidate should keep it safe as it will be useful at every stage of the advertisement in the future.
