Important Note : Agriculture Overseer Syllabus and Exam

  • The questions of Part-A will be in Gujarati and English.
  • Questions on the Constitution of India and current affairs will be in Gujarati and English.
  • Gujarati comprehension questions will be in Gujarati language only and English comprehension questions will be in English language only.
  • Questions related to educational qualification and its applicability will be in English language only.
  • As stated in the announcement for the course by the board, only the subject-wise weightage can be changed.

Agriculture Overseer Syllabus : Detailed PDF

  • The exam will be of a total of 210 questions and 210 marks, in which Part-A will be of a total of 90 marks and Part-B will be of a total of 120 marks.
  • The total time allotted for Part-A and Part-B will be 3 hours i.e. 180 minutes.
  • In the examination, one mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer will be deducted from the marks obtained as per the negative marking method.

Minimum Qualifying Standards : Agriculture Overseer Exam

  • According to the announcement by GSSSB, it will be mandatory to obtain 40% of the total marks in both the parts separately to pass the selection examination.
